The aim of the European research project Easy OBU is the development and demonstration of an affordable and portable on-board unit (OBU) with open interfaces. It enables retrospective route calculation for situations in which satellite navigation is not possible.

AustriaTech supports in project management, is responsible for user requirements and is involved in the work packages development and testing, validation and market development.
